NiRA Academy and Resource Centre ensure all its lecturers and facilitators are from a well-rounded background, selected based on their experience in the field and knowledge of the subject matter.

Our faculty is passionate about teaching and is well-grounded in the understanding of the relevant subject. Through hands-on training, research work and mentorship programs, we are able to develop and provide world-class training standards.

DR EUGENE OHU
Dr Eugene Ohu is the director of studies, NiRA Academy, a senior lecturer in the department of Organisational Behaviour/Human Resource Management of the Lagos Business School, where he teaches in the degree (MBA) and executive programmes. 

He has been a member of NiRA since Jan 2007 and has been on the Executive Board of NiRA since 2017, serving at various times as the chairman of the Technical Committee, and a member of other committees including the Audit Committee, the Communications Committee, as well as the Finance and Establishment Committee. 

Dr Ohu is very passionate about technology.  At the Lagos Business School, he researches on the psychology of human-computer interactions in the workplace, in order to promote individual wellbeing and organizational productivity.  He is the director of the Virtual Human-Computer Interaction (VHCI) Lab at the school.  

Eugene Ohu is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organisational Psychology (SIOP); the Academy of Management (AOM) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He is also an entrepreneurship mentor on the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) entrepreneurship programme. Eugene speaks and writes Italian and Spanish fluently, and has a fair mastery of French.  He loves the outdoors.

m rudmaMUHAMMED RUDMAN
Muhammed Rudman is President of NiRA and the pioneer Chief Executive Officer, Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN), Nigeria's first and only neutral IXP. A veteran IT professional with over 18 years of extensive experience in network design, implementation, optimization and operations. Before joining IXPN, Rudman had worked with several organizations in technical and managerial capacity including Galaxy IT & T Limited, where he facilitated the deployment of rural telephony project (personal handy phone system), Wireless multipoint and point-to-point for broadband access, Earth Stations for Wide Area Network (WAN) using remote VSAT sites across many Nigerian states and West Africa countries. 

He is an active member of several professional organizations within and outside the country and has contributed immensely to the development of the ICT sector in Nigeria. He currently serves on the Board of Nigerian Internet Registration Association (.ng  ccTLD custodians) as well as the Chairman, Communication and Publicity Committee.

Rudman is the Chairman of the Nigeria IPv6 Council, the Council is a chapter of the global IPv6 Forum. The Council is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of IPv6 best practices and lessons learned in Nigeria.

He has severally been engaged as a member of various strategic and policy-making committees across the country. Rudman is a member of the National Broadband Council; The Council is tasked with the evaluation, review and monitoring of the National Broadband Plan.

sa shehuMOHAMMED SIKIRU SHEHU
Mr. Shehu is a member of the NiRA Academy. He is a seasoned Information Technology practitioner, Management Consultant and well experienced in Teaching, Finance, Banking, Policies and Regulatory affairs. He is the immediate past Financial Secretary and member of the Executive Board of Directors at NiRA.

He is a Fellow of The Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS) and a member of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) [MCPN]. He is also an Associate member of both the Institute of Personnel Management and the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Mrs. UdeaguEDITH UDEAGU
Mrs. Edith Udeagu is the Executive Secretary of NiRA. She is also the Registrar for NiRA Academy. She worked in the Information Technology (IT) Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria before she retired on 30th June 2011 as an Acting Deputy Director Security Management Division after heading several offices within the IT Department in which she distinguished herself with her dedication to work.

She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She holds professional certifications in CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC from ISACA. She is also a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and Ikoyi Club 1938
